Indications

  1. Approach to uninvestigated dyspepsia without alarm data

  2. Confirmation of eradication after treatment

Procedure

  1. Deep inspiration and subsequent expiration in bag 1 (control).

  2. Ingestion of a capsule with urea labeled with C13 and waiting for 30 minutes in a sitting position.

  3. Deep inspiration and subsequent bag exhalation 2.

Preparation

Before the test:​

  1. Do not consume proton pump inhibitor for 1 week

  2. Not having consumed antibiotics in the previous month

  3. Come with 8 hours of fasting
