Indications

  1. Approach to oropharyngeal dysphagia in patients with:

    1. Dysphagia due to head and neck cancer​

    2. Sarcopenic dysphagia

    3. Neurogenic dysphagia

    4. Dysphagia in older adults

    5. Dysphagia after orotracheal intubation

    6. Post tracheostomy dysphagia

Preparation

Previo a la prueba:​

  1. Ayuno de 6 horas

Procedure

  1. Application of topical anesthesia in the nasal cavity.

  2. Introduction of nasofibrolaryngoscope

  3. Administration of different volumes and consistencies to evaluate defects in swallowing efficacy and safety
